The world’s population is becoming increasingly unhealthy, overweight, and unfit.

That means, people are living shorter lives, and falling short of who they could be, if they prioritized their health and fitness.

Most people don’t quit (or even start) fitness because they don’t want it enough. They quit because they don’t have the right support, coaching, and community around them.

That is why we built Showdown Training Club.

Why We Started

In 2020, I made the decision to leave the military and pursue a career in coaching.

That year, I earned my CrossFit L-1 certification and, by the end of the year, moved to South Florida to coach part-time while finishing my degree.

Back at my last duty station, the only part of my day I looked forward to was my nightly workout at the local CrossFit gym. I hated my job and dreaded going to work. The gym was the only place I truly felt happy and fulfilled.

Working out in a community of people who loved to exercise was contagious and I was hooked.

My progress skyrocketed in that environment, and I got a firsthand taste of what it meant to be part of a community built around movement and support.

Fast forward to 2025…

  • I’ve owned a gym for over three years
  • Coached thousands of group and 1-on-1 sessions
  • Devoted well over 10,000 hours to fitness and coaching

People often ask me what else I do besides coach, I tell them,

“That’s it.”

Fitness has become my life’s work. And for the last five years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others improve their health, fitness, and nutrition-just like that community once did for me.

Our Mission

At Showdown Training Club, our mission is simple:

We help committed professionals build strength, consistency, and real results through structured training, expert coaching, and personalized accountability, all within a supportive community that helps you thrive and reclaim your fitness.

We believe:

  • Fitness coaching should be personal. There is not a one-size fits all approach
  • You deserve a coach who knows your name, goals, and why you are in the gym
  • Celebrating wins to keep you motivating and engaged along your journey
  • Being surrounded by people who will uplift you, call you out when you need to be held accountable, and greet you by name when you walk through our doors

What Makes Us Different

We don’t believe in throwing you into a crowded class and hoping you figure it out.
We start every journey with a conversation: learning about your goals, your struggles, and your vision for the future. We call it a no-sweat intro.

From there:

  • You’ll work 1-on-1 with a coach to build your foundation.
  • Every small group session is personalized to meet you where you are.
  • We track your progress, celebrate your wins, and adjust your plan as you grow.
